Mian Rehman Aziz Chan, a Law graduate with Honors from University of London, has post-graduation degree, M.B.A. from Government College University, Lahore, and also holds a bachelor’s degree from Government College, Lahore.

 He is a practicing legal counsel and Advocate High Court. A senior partner and member, BOD, of M-R Law Chambers (Pvt) Ltd, a multi-national full service law company having its headquarter in London, U.K.

 He has an industrial background, primarily, in Steel and Cold chain projects, he is C.E.O. of Al-Sakhi Steel Mills (Pvt.) Ltd., Siddique Iron Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., member BOD of Rehman Steel Furnace (Pvt.) Ltd., Naveed Faheem Steel Mills, Siddique Cold Storages and managing partner in Iqra Cold Storages.

 He is also a philanthropist and Vice-Chairman of M-R Foundation, an international charitable organisation.

 He is among the founder directors of Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT), where he was part of the team who developed policy, strategy, structure, vision, and shaping of the said Organization. He was the Sector Head of Energy, Mines and Minerals at PBIT also the project leader of Punjab’s iron ores extraction and conversion into steel projects. He was a keynote speaker in Punjab investment conferences held in Lahore and Karachi, and showcased the iron ore projects. These accumulated efforts have resulted in receiving an ‘Expression of Interest’ from an international investor worth U.S. $ 2 Billion. He has represented the government on the forum of DEIK (Turkish Official Investment Promotion Agency) and P.B.I.T. C.E.O Conference, held at Istanbul, Turkey.

In the energy sector he has helped addressing the issue of energy and developing a strategy to eradicate the current energy shortfalls in the shortest possible time. He was a vital part of the team that organized and participated in Energy Roundtable Conference and took Pakistan Sugar Mills Association on board to develop captive power plants on indigenous bio-fuel at their mills and articulated road maps on how to provide millers with the means to deliver the projects. He also participated in Carbon Trading Workshops.
